Since 1995, Heidi Vukov, owner of Croissants Bistro & Bakery, has been serving Myrtle Beach with quality comfort food at affordable prices. Honored as South Carolina's Restaurateur of the year in 2010, Heidi has climbed to the top of her career ladder and enjoys every bit of it. Interested in baking and pastry since she was a little girl visiting her Grandmother, Heidi has always had a passion to work hard and to please her customers. Although Chef Bradley Daniels started his career as a chef later on in life, it didn't stop him from quickly climbing the career ladder to Executive Chef. As the Executive Chef at Croissants, Bradley oversees all aspects of the kitchen. As you can imagine, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday isn't an easy job. Chef Daniels says it's important to not only be skilled as a chef but you also need to know the business side of the restaurant to run a successful kitchen. As the Executive Pastry Chef, Heather has climbed through the ranks in the baking and pastry department at Croissants. Heather's main goal when she got in to baking and pastry was to one day work at Croissants. Some duties of the Executive Pastry Chef are overseeing staff, quality control and following up with clients. Heather really enjoys her job at Croissants and looks forward to a rewarding future as the Executive Pastry Chef. Check out her video!
How did Kimberly get experience in baking from home?
Kimberly is a pastry Chef and the head cake decorator at Croissants. She moved to South Carolina to pursue her career as a pastry chef and has been creating amazing cakes for clients ever since. Kimberly got started baking with her mother at home and has had a knack for it ever since. A self taught baker and decorator, Kimberly practiced her skills for three years before making this her profession. Check out her video and see some of her awesome cakes!
Tina is currently interning in the baking and pastry department at Croissants. She's currently going to a local culinary college and loves being able to learn hands on at the bakery while also receiving credits for school. Some of her duties as an intern includes icing cakes, cutting fruit for tarts and prepping baked goods to be sold.
